Andrew + Jane have been married since 2013 and have lived together with friends nearly all of that time and with Ryne for most of it.
We love our city and we love community. That's a big part of why we live the way we do and where we do. And that's a big part of why we have a short-term rental here.
We bought the house as a two unit property. Jane + Andrew and their kids live upstairs while Ryne lives on the first floor. We renovated the basement to open this rental unit in May 2025.
Yes, we want the property to make money for us – but to us, it means so much more. Our dream is that by hosting guests in this space we can (in a small way) benefit our guests and our city.
We want you to have a great time here and to leave with fond memories of DC. Not just because we want a good review (trust me, we love a good review) but because we know that life is made up of our day-to-day experiences – so we want your days here to be delightful.
Plus, if you enjoy our city you'll put more into our city – whether it's returning on another visit, telling your friends about local spots or even just fondly remembering that this city isn't just politics in "the swamp."
Our goal is that you leave here loving DC a bit more than when you arrived.
So feel free to reach out. We love giving recommendations about restaurants, bars, coffee shops, monuments, museums, ways to spend a Saturday and anything and everything in between. And we love meeting new folks and getting to show off our city.
